I’m obsessed w the abandoned hotel Del Salto in Tequendama Falls, Columbia. it looks like something I saw in a dream or a past life or maybe I’m just fake deep but it gives me an evocative and almost mystical feeling.
it used to be a private mansion in the the 1920s turned hotel in the 1950s, and it was abandoned in the 1990s because the Bogota river next to it got polluted with sewage and smelled like shit so obviously nobody wanted to stay there anymore. afterwards it became a popular suicide site, with many people choosing to leap off from the hotel platform because it has no barrier.
I wish I could go there alone while the sun is setting and the waterfall’s mists are cloaking everything in mystery and wander through the abandoned rooms like a ghost… people say this place is haunted I want to go there and get abducted by spirits asap
some of these Black men need to realize that until they do right by Black women/girls/femme-identified people, they will fail. always and forever. that’s just that on that.
